Regional Funding Grants 2025-2026 - NOW OPEN!
The Regional Events Fund supports events that drive overnight visitation and boost local economies in regional NSW. Since its inception, the program has provided over $14 million to more than 530 events.
Events must take place between 1 July 2025 and 30 June 2026 and be located within one of the seven Destination Networks.

31 March 2025 - BEGA VALLEY - ClubGrant
This programs aims to provide financial support for projects and services that contribute to the wellbeing of local communities.
The funding is provided by six registered clubs across the Shire:

Grants of up to $25,000 are available.

Disaster Ready Fund Round 3 opens
Project proposals open for $200 million disaster risk reduction and resilience funding to keep Australians safe
The third round of the Government’s flagship $1 billion Disaster Ready Fund (DRF) is now open. The Fund seeks to reduce risk and build resilience in communities across Australia.
DRF Round Three will invest $200 million in projects that support Australian communities to manage the physical, economic and social impacts of future floods, cyclones, bushfires, storm surges and other natural hazards.
Works that deliver enduring benefits for communities are a particular focus this year, with $138 million earmarked for infrastructure projects.

This program aims to assist in the delivery of activities celebrating NAIDOC in Eurobodalla.
NAIDOC Week 2025 runs from 7-14 July.
Grants of up to $1,000 are available.

10 APRil 2025 - canberra - innovation connect (Icon) Grant program
This program aims to support the thriving startup culture in Canberra and empowers entrepreneurs to develop and grow their innovative ideas. It seeks to complement existing funding opportunities and programs.
The objectives of the program are to:
Support innovative, entrepreneurial ideas to a market ready position, including market testing.
Fund projects that prove the technical or commercial feasibility of a concept.
Support the development of product prototype or functional software.
Assist with development and testing of effective marketing approaches, and with legal, IP and patenting advice.
Encourage growth and maturation of start-ups at the pre-seed stage in Canberra.
Position Canberra and the surrounding region as a supportive ecosystem for innovation.
Grants between $10,000 and $30,000 are available on a dollar-for-dollar matched-funding basis.
A total funding pool of $500,000 (GST exclusive) is available.
Applicants may only submit one application per funding round.

This program aims to encourage and assist community involvement in the management of waste minimisation and education for the benefit of the whole region.
Grants of up to $5,000 are available.

31 May 2025 - Goulburn Mulwaree - ClubGrants : cat 1 Funding
This program aims to ensure that larger clubs contribute to the provision of front-line services for their local communities and to ensure that the disadvantaged in the community are better positioned to benefit from the substantial contributions made by those clubs. It also facilitates contributions by larger clubs towards infrastructure to support sporting, health and community activities.

31 May 2025 - BEGA VALLEY - COMMUNITY ENVIRONMENTAL GRANTS
This program aims to encourage and assist community involvement in the management of the Bega Valley Shire environment for the benefit of the whole region.
The objectives of the program are to:
Support community groups and organisations to enhance, protect and restore the natural environmental assets of the shire.
Encourage and foster environmental ethic and behaviour change amongst the community.
Increase community awareness and understanding of environmental assets.
Support conservation strategies currently undertaken by Council.
Assist in the provision of innovative environmental management projects.
Grants of up to $6,000 are available.

31 May 2025 - Queanbeyan-Palerang ClubsGRants: Cat 1 Funding
This program aims to support projects and/or services that contribute to the welfare and broader social fabric of the local community and are aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people.
ClubGRANTS is designed to ensure that larger registered clubs in NSW contribute to the provision of frontline services to their local communities; and to ensure that the disadvantaged in the community are better positioned to benefit from the substantial contributions made by those clubs.
There are no set minimum and maximum funding limits. Grant requests in the past have ranged from $2,000 to $40,000 depending on the needs of the organisation.

31 MAY 2025 Eurobodalla Club Grant
ClubGRANTS is one of Australia’s largest grant programs, providing more than $100 million in cash each year to a variety of worthy causes across NSW.
Charities, sporting organisations and not-for-profit community groups are among tens-of-thousands of worthy causes funded through the program each year.

QUEANBEYAN-PALERANG REIGIONAL COUNCIL - CULTURAL GRANTS
This program aims to assist local arts, artists, musicians, performers, writers and arts/cultural organisations to start and to develop their own projects, and to improve the Queanbeyan-Palerang community's opportunities for involvement in cultural and arts activities.

Eurobodalla Shire Council - Mayoral Representatives Grants
This program aims to provide financial assistance to individuals or teams, that have been selected to represent Eurobodalla at a state, national or international level.
Grants available are up to:
$400 for individuals.
$750 for teams.

Bega Valley Shire Council- Waste Program
This program aims to encourage and assist community involvement in the management of waste minimisation and education for the benefit of the whole region.
The program will be offered over a six-year period in conjunction with Bournda Environmental Education Centre.
Grants of up to $500 are available.
A total funding pool of $10,000 is available ($2,000 per school).
Applicants are expected to contribute to the project through in-kind use of labour or materials.

goulburn-mulwaree council - event development funding
This program aims to support the development of vibrant, creative and innovative events that enhance the economic, social and cultural life in the Goulburn-Mulwaree region.
There are two funding streams available:
1. Sports Tourism Event funding
2. Tourism Event Development funding
Applications must be received a minimum of three months prior to the commencement of the event. Applications will be considered outside these timelines on a case-by-case basis.
Applicants must contact the program administrator prior to submitting an application.

Goulburn-mulwaree council - mayor discretionary fund
This program aims to assist with small projects and community initiatives.
There are no specified minimum and maximum funding limits.
The Mayor will have discretion to make donations up within the annual allocated budget. Funding request should be made in writing.

CLEAN UP GRANT - Assessed Monthly
Clean Up Grant (maximum of $575)
Clean Up grants aim to support organisations that are actively:
cleaning up public areas
assisting community members with complex needs, including hoarding behaviours
This grant provides up to $575 (in waste vouchers) to cover council waste facility fees associated with:
the disposal of general waste
the disposal of green waste
the disposal of other waste items
purchasing compost or mulch

ONgoing - ACT Major event fund
This program aims to deliver a mechanism for investing in, supporting and leveraging major events in Canberra. It has been established to support major event opportunities that can:
Drive substantial economic impact for Canberra through event-based tourist visitation and visitor spend, and by filling identified gaps in Canberra's annual events calendar.
Provide opportunities for marketing and promotion of the Canberra region to key domestic and (when applicable) international audiences.
Provide high quality, enticing event experiences which support and enhance the Canberra brand, generate city vibrancy and profile Canberra as a leading tourism and events destination.
Reflect, engage and involve Canberra's diverse communities.
Grants between $50,000 and $500,000 are available.
Applications must be submitted six months prior to the commencement of the event.
