Local Land Services: Mitch Andrew, Senior Advisor Drought Adoption.
Spring is upon us and the days are getting longer and warmer. Across the SE regions, we are seeing some varied conditions. The eastern side of Brown mountain has had limited rain events for several months and we are seeing drying soils and pastures stress. Many producers are considering their options as we wait to see what the coming seasons brings.
Animal welfare must be considered at all times in dry times. There are many publications currently available that could be useful in planning for the coming few months.
Mitch will be available to discuss these points and answer any questions you may have.
