Have Your Say on Early Childhood Education and Care in Southern NSW & ACT
Regional Development Australia Southern NSW & ACT (RDASNA) is calling on early childhood service providers, parents and guardians to help shape the future of Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) across our region.
To better understand access, workforce challenges, and areas where support is most needed, RDASNA has launched two short surveys. These surveys will provide valuable insights to guide future workforce strategies and inform regional advocacy for stronger, more sustainable care services.
ECEC Provider Survey | https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ECEC-RDASNA-Provider
We’re inviting all early childhood education and care services to complete a short survey exploring:
· Workforce shortages and training needs
· Recruitment and retention challenges
· Professional development, waivers, and support structures
· Access to inclusion and migrant workforce programs
Parent/Guardian Survey | https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ECEC-RDASNA
We are also seeking input from families with children in care. The Parent/Guardian Survey focuses on:
· Care preferences and access challenges
· The impact of care on work, study, and family wellbeing
· Waitlists, cost, and subsidy access
We kindly ask councils, early learning services, and ECEC support organisations to share both survey links through their networks and databases.
The surveys are open until 11 am Friday, 15th August, and take around 10 minutes to complete.
This is a valuable opportunity to ensure the voices of local families and services are heard and included in shaping future ECEC support in our region.
